Battle giant monsters in Extinction
Extinction is a hack-and-slash action game in which you fight to defend human cities from hordes of monsters. The most dangerous of these are giant ogres, titanic beasts so large you'll have to climb them in order to take them out.
Time to slay some giants
If Extinction sounds a little bit like Shadow of the Colossus, there's a good reason: this game definitely borrows a little from the classic platformer. But the fast-pased combat of games like God of War is also an influence, with a combat system that dependent on creating effective combos of attacks. This game also features a fast-paced movement system that allows you to race over the rooftops of cities to reach your next target. These systems combine in the boss battles, in which you'll need to build up charge for your special attack and clamber up the giant in order to unleash a decapitating strike.
All action, all the time
